Terms of service
The service
Setu lets applications act on third-party accounts that an end user has connected. By using Setu you agree to these terms. If you use it for an organization, you confirm you can bind it.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your API keys secret. You are responsible for activity under them.
- Only connect accounts you are authorized to connect, and tell your end users what your application will do with their accounts.
- Follow the terms of each connected app. Do not use Setu to send spam, scrape at scale, or break a provider's rules or the law.
- Do not attempt to access other projects' data or to disrupt the service.
Limits and availability
We apply rate limits and monthly quotas. Setu is an early release provided as is. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we may suspend access that puts the service or other users at risk.
Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for actions taken by your application on connected accounts. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100 if you paid nothing.
Open source
The Setu software is licensed under Apache-2.0. These terms apply to the hosted service, not to your use of the source code.
Ending
You can stop at any time by revoking your keys and disconnecting accounts. We may end accounts that break these terms.
